Dear expert.
My father received a plot of land from his mother through a settlement deed . The said plot of land was sold by my father 30 years ago to purchase a fully built house. Now, my father wants to gift this house to my brother in full. When i asked him for my share he says the house is his self acquired and so i am not entitled.
Can you please tell me whether property received through the mother constitute ancestral property.
Thank you for the time.

Hello Experts,
I was married on April 29, 2013. after 2 months of marriage i discovered my wife has epilepsy and non-cancer tumour (can be cured in duration 36-48 months).
She use to get fits attack 2-3 times a week and some times she becomes violent.
Nothing such was told to me from her side/parents on these. upon discussion they said "there as nothing such, and would have happened after marriage" which is medically not possible.
her brother took her back to home for some festival in october for 5-6 days. Now they are not letting her come back saying she is not well and will send her after she gets cured fully. And they are also not letting me to talk her or meet her.
Now my in-law wants me to stay separate from my parents and then only they will send back my wife.
And they have convinced my wife for this and now she also want to live separate.
For Epilepsy my in-laws are saying, she is not epileptic (i have positive reports for epilepsy n tumour), its just tension thing as living with your parents.
And sometimes they say they can keep their daughter for life time.
my in-laws used to fight with my parents over phone 3-4 times every week.
I am afraid if they can file dowry or such case if i File divorce.
How can i get divorce in this case? As when my wife cannot stand with me in my good and bad what should i do in this case?
Marriage is not registered till now, as we are were busy in these things.
things are getting worse and has become topic of tension for us from last few months. Is there any way to get rid of these sooner ? My marriage will complete one year in april 29 2014. so its months from now.
