SIR,
This query about my sister-in-law(younger sister of my late/deceased wife, her husband expired in a train accident on 20 March 2014. On friday 11 Apr 14,my father-in-law(i.e. her father) taken her to their home permanently but on that time unfortunantly her in-laws taken whole ornament from her and due to that action as a anger my father-in-law taken a few items of dowry material(not whole as marriage was done in 2000 as child marriage and major items they have taken). In my view, before taking this action, they have to discuss this in front of some important person of village but in anger they have taken such false action, which only fill sorrow and dishonor of her life.
So i requested to you provide a guide of her rights over that ornament and property[her father-in-law now have only married daughter as her husband was lonly son of her father and there ancenstral property is a ancestral house and 22 bigha(Rajasthan state standarad)] of her deceased husband. she is 26 yrs old and have no childs and now residing with her father's home(i.e at my father-in-law's home) and also give suggestion if situation change as if will do remarriage with her in future as my wife has deceased on 24 dec13 due to cancer and i have two kids.

Dear Sir,
My Mother has a property in chennai. Me and my brother are the only two sons to my mother. This property is bought by my Mother through her own earnings. My Mother has settled the property to me through settlement deed. I have now approached the bank for loan and the loan is sanctioned and my builder has demolished the building and yet to start construction work. Now my brother is saying that he has right in the property and he will approach the court. Kindly let me know whether a stay order will be issued if my brother approaches the court or the court will settle the case in favour of me due to the settlement deed.
I have approached few lawyers in person in chennai few say the case will be in favour of me due to the settlement deed and few say a stay order can be issued and the rights of the property for my brother can be claimed and hence the construction cannot be progressed. Some even say this case can go for 10 years once a stay order is issued. Kindly advice me.

Respected Sir/s
Myself is Pratima Pillai from Vashi, Navi Mumbai. My Mom is in the process of obtaining Heirship Cerificate for a Property in Pune. We approached a well-known advocate in Vashi. He said Heirship Certifiicate would cost Rs 2 lakhs plus statutory and lawyer fees. I understand that Heirship certificate doesn't cost such a bomb. We are not able to afford such heavy expenditure. Please recommend /suggest a lawyer in Vashi and or Navi Mumbai who would take reasonable fees from us for the statutory and paper work.
Thanks and regards.

Dear All,
I have purchased a property in April 2008.
Now the electricity board has given me a pending bill which was before the date of my purchase. They say that have conducted an audit NOW & that the bill was pending, after 5-6 years they have raised the bill!!
The person/firm who have constructed it were suppose to pay these bills since I didn't purchase that property then for which the bill was raised now.
The electricity board is levying interest as the days are passing & are threatening to cut the connection.
I want to file a complaint in the CONSUMER FORUM, what all documents are needed for this case? Will I have to pay the bills instead of the previous owner? Is there any law which says that?
Kindly guide.
Regards

Bank procedure reg
we have given an OTS settlement to the bank and they did not agree on it. Now they are trying to sell the property to arcil companies and in our assumption, the value is lesser than our offered OTS amount. Do we have any case of stopping them from selling the property or of they sell, what are the ways to appeal??
