Reservation status for a single job vacancy..

Sirs, my sincere doubt......in most Government Scientific Depts, the post of Director is only one......however when the post of Director gets vacant, an advertisement is issued and applications sought for. Never are such posts carry provision for reservation for SC/ST and others....Such vacancy is always in the open category and no reservations are met with..Is this legal and allowed. What does Law say about such single posts......

Dv act and child custody

Dear Experts,

Please advise that one of my friend(male- respondent)was charged under DV Act 2005, during the trial petitioner and respondent had agreed for consent terms and get divorce in court. court have already passed an order for divorce by consent terms in the court of first class. and in the consent terms it was clearly mentioned as follows`` the parties have agreed that the petitioner shall have the permanent custody of both the minor children till they attain the age of majority and till then she alone shall be responsible for their upbringing, education, moral and religious values. the respondent shall not challenge or agitate the custody of the children before any court of law''. now the situation is that the petitioner is having an affair with another person and their elder son age of 12 doesn't like this, and he wants to come back to his father and stay. my question is:-
1. can the respondent file for custody of his elder son? on the grounds of his son statement?
2. can court ask the 12 yr child for his decision?
3. can father succeed on this ground that his son is not willing to stay with his mother as she is having a affair with other man?
4. now the son is staying with father as he is not going back to mother, can there be any problem to his father?
please advise thanks a lot for your responses.

Case filed for right of way

Dear Sirs,

There is 13 cents land in Palakkad of which 5 cents was given by my grandmother to my mother separately(gifting) and the remaining 8 cents of land were bought by my father and mother from my grandmother. The 8 cents lies close to the road and is in the front. The 5 cents is behind this 8 cent land. My mother had sold this 5 cent land to my sister(without my knowledge) even though she had taken the same amount of money from me and gave nothing in return. My father expired and so the 8 cents in the front now belong to me, my sister, and my mother(who will be the major shareholder as it was bought by her and my father). Now my sister is threatening to file a case saying she wants right of way through this joint property which my mother is ready to give but I am not. The reason behind my not giving is I have not been given anything from this property even though I have also shelled out money. Documents have been written only in my sister's name for the five cent land who gave her much lesser amount and six years later than me. If we give way to her property, again I stand to lose and also we will have very less area for ourselves. Will I be forced by the court to give way? What are my options if I do not want to give way? How long will this case go on?
My sister just wants to make my life miserable and will not heed to any other arrangement possible. She is very competitive in all areas of life and my mother is just an enabler of all this. So the option of mediation etc are just ruled out.

Paid through cheque, price revised before receiving it.

Dear sir/Madam,
I was interested in purchasing home theater from Bose Corporation India Private Limited through online mode. I requested the quotation for the same from company's office at New Delhi which I received on 29th March 2014 through email. The purchase has to be done by payment through crossed cheque in favor of the mentioned company. I sent the cheque by courier (as requested by company sales representative) on 31st March 2014. The cheque was received by company on 9th of April. Later I received communication from company that purchase cannot be processed as price of the requested speaker system has increased by Rs.6800 effective from 1st April 2014.
Dear Sir/Madam, Is there any possibility that I can claim the purchase on predated price or can I approach to consumer court in this matter?
Thanking you.
