Sir, I want to buy a flat worth 18 lacs. But the seller says he will accept only 11 lacs in cheque and the remaining 7 lacs in cash. In the registry he will write only 11 lacs as the cost of the flat. He has agreed to give me receipt on plain paper of both cash and cheque payments. If after receiving the payment he refuses to sell me the flat, will such plain paper receipts help me to recover the entire payment from him (both cash and cheque payments).
I have suggested that we should have a registered agreement but he says even in the registered agreement he will write 11 lacs as the cost of the flat and give plain paper receipts. If after the agreement he refuses to sell the flat or in case of any other fraud, will I be able to recover the entire payment from him on the basis of plain paper receipts. If not, please tell me how to proceed in this matter. Will a registered agreement compel him to sell me the flat?

This is case of my widow relative having a 35 years unmarried son who does nothing to earn his living and harasses his 61 years widow pensioner mother for money moreover he demands his to mother to transfer all her money in his account. He does manhandling with his mother, uses unparliamentarily language against her and threatens her to cause physical injury to her, moreover he prevents his mother from sleeping in night by switching on the lights and playing music system in night he himself sleeps in day to complete his sleep. Any relative or neighbours who assist this widow women in getting relief from domestic violence her son also threatens them and at an incidence he very harshly hit his uncle's son on head while uncle's son was assisting this widow women. We once filed a complain against him in POLICE in front of ASI he started acting as if he is insane and ASI went saying that he is insane and it is not the duty of police to treat insane as soon as ASI departed he again started his activities. In 2012 also a complaint was LODGED in WOMEN CELL in front of women cell officials he stared behaving like insane and they said बहन जी ये तो पागल है। We are very much problemed by this can we file a complain in DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ACT 2005. What is remedy for this widow women to get rid of the violence done by his son.

In Transfer of property act it is clearly mentioned in section-60 commentary provided by Mulla that
"the Right to redeem follows the interest of the mortgagor, and can be exercised by him and also by those taking the whole of his interest, whether by ASSIGNMENT INTER VIVOS, OR BY DEVOLUTION ON DEATH."
but i am unable to find any case law to support the above clause. Its a request to honorable members to provide help regarding the case law supporting the above sentence in Section 60 of TOPA.

Dear Sir,
I am female aged 36 yrs. Electricity bill is in my Father's name. Father expired 1 year back.
We are 3 Sisters and 2 brothers. Property is ancestral.
I wish to include my name in Electricity bill, along with my 2 brothers' names. My Idea is to assert my rights over our House without going for partition.
I have obtained legal heir Certificate.
Can I apply to Electricity board for including my name?

I had bought a built up house in Punjab with my SIL in 2005. She forcibly (her husband being advocate) occupied the house and made circumstances that I had to sell my 50% share to her at nominal price. She got GPA registered and receipt signed for money given to me for 50% share. In records I am still owner of 50% share. Is there a way that I can now deny the sale and cancel GPA or claim the difference amount from her.
Setting fire by pouring petrol on 19 yrs girl
Dear experts,
My niece is studying college in Jaipur. One of boy who use to study with her in 11-12th in 2011-12 had troubled her lot for friendship, use to write letters, call call her. She always focused on studies and informed in Women cell last year. we have all proofs
A week back this boy turned to her campus brought a can of petrol and lighter with him and set fire on her, some how her face saved, hair and hands has burnt.
Latter police has arrested the boy and he is in judicial remand.
section 354, 354D, 326A, 341 is filed against him. the boy openly tells to police, once he will come out of jail kill my niece and then kill himself. This is mad guy may come out of jail in 2-3 years and do such crime.
1.How we can ensure he do not attacks again her again.
2. Will she get govt lawyer to fight the case or we need to hire a lawyer.
3. should we log complain in women's cell also.
Our main aim is to keep him minimum 5 years in jail, by the time he will grow up and come out from madness. He is 19 years old now mad in single sided love.
Regards
Chandra
