My client is a Portuguese National who was on a visit to Goa for few days and met with an accident. Wherein the opposite party who banged the scooter to my client's scooter is not the owner of the bike and is without license. Can he claim compensation under section 140 & 166 of Motor Vehicle Act? Will this be the right way to go about with the claim petition? Under which law can he claim his ticket amount from Goa to Manchester as he cannot postpone it any further as that option is already utilized by him? Please advice.

after the death of my grand father in 1990,my mothers brother's numbering 4 have divided the property among them.Now,when my mother ask them to give 1/5th share in the property
my mother's brothers are telling her to go to
court to get 1/5th share.kindly advice us as what should we do to get her share and also tell if a case is filled only she should be a part to the case or we her children can also be part to the case as she is aged and cannot
travel very often because of her ill health.
before filling the case what measures should be taken by us.

Sir,
I am working in a PSU under the Railway Ministry for more than 3 years. Suddenly my PSU stopped providing lease accommodation facility to new recruits (I am one of them) at the time of ongoing probation period (without any prior notice before the recruitment process). Old employees in the same post are getting the benefit. My service bond/agreement (3yrs) with the PSU is now over. Now i want to seek employment in another PSU under the same ministry which requires experience 3 yrs and offering higher pay scale and lease accommodation benefit. And for that I need NOC/approval from my existing PSU. But my PSU is not giving it stating (said to me verbally) that they have fewer employees and I am their valuable employee.
I am very serious about my career and I find that non provision of NOC is wrong. What should I do now. Last date of application in new PSU is also nearing. Please help.

In an Injunction suit,original plaint dated 01-12-2014 has been amended with leave of the Court.
On 27-1-2016, amended plaint has been filed by plaintiffs;but date of plaint is same i.e.01-12-2014. Also the date of verification is same i.e.01-12-2014.
Whether it is a defect? Whether I can take objection as defendants' counsel?

My wife has purchased a flat from her brother in the year 2009 in Delhi by executing regd POA and will and motorised Sale deed now she wants to execute a regd sale deed.Can she do that.Also pl let her know the amount to be spent on stamp duty etc

Sir I want to know that what is 409 of Ipc and when it is revoked and what are the minimum essential ingredient for it. If Any one alleged for giving money to me as I am a govt servant without any proof any documents any evidence only his statement. The can it comes under 409.

Sir a case is filed by my dept against me by taking statement only of consumers stating that I have taken money from them but not give them receipt.
Sir according to high Court orders for anticipatory bail I also fix the amount before session court. But now I want to compound the case and alleged money I am ready to give want to finish it. So can it is compounded or not. If dept do not ready for that then court can order for it. If 409 is present in it.

Respected Sir
My client wants to change his surname on his birth certificate, marriage certificate which is registered in Sub Registrar for the purpose of issuing Portuguese Passport. Which Act will be applicable? Please advice
