I am a 59 years old married woman who has been living in my marital home for 35 years in Delhi. Raised 2 children (now well settled abroad) & looked after a joint family of husband and his parents. Now he and his mother want to throw me out by any means. We have been living on separate floors all our life. His mother mentioned about selling the house too just to dislodge me.
Pls suggest how can I stop them from doing so. No harsh measures please as I still consider them my family but they don't.
Thank you Mr Santosh, Mr Dhingra and Mr Atul sir for guidance. I have two more Questions, they may sound funny and kind of narrow minded, but are important for me, since that girl doesn't deserve for what she did to me :-(
1. Even if I found her resume updated on naukri, I need to provide evidence of her employment? It will be too difficult for me to gather details, because she is in Kerala and I am in Gujarat and we hv no mutual connection.
2. Even if she marries someone else, I won't be knowing and she will keep on getting ailmony throughout life, so will court keep on tracking her marital status periodically?
Please suggest. Thanks again.

Our plot has been under construction since 3 years as per SRA scheme. We have been issued a cheque as a room rent for the temporary occupancy untill the allotment of flats. My room possession and all its relevant documents stands in the name of my mother. But a year ago, my mother expired due to illness, and i had made an application in SRA this month for transfer of names in Annexure 2 (from my mothers name to mine as i am the only son of my mother). But the officials told me, it would take around 6-8 months to get names transferred. Meanwhile cheque received from developer last year has due on jan 16. But when we approached developer for next cheque, he issued cheque in my mother's name and hence we have returned the cheque as the bank account holding my mother name had been closed. I have produced affidavit, death certificate to the developer to get cheque in my name but he refused to give and said it is against rules and he can only issue cheque as per the names in annexure 2. But for us, its not easy to pay rent and deposit in a place like mumbai. Is there any way to get cheque in my name before the transfer of names? May NOC from our registered committe can be effective? Please help me out.

Dear Sir
There is a police inspector staying in our colony in front of my house. He and his wife used to harass neighbors. He is confident that being a police officer nobody can take any action against him. They show and misuse the power of police. They used to take out fuel from police vehicle in the daylight. It proves he is confident on his power. I filmed this many times. Recently they both have beaten my wife in public by tearing her dress. I complaint in PS. Police investigated 3 times and tried to keep silent. All the times around 10 people in our colony given witness against them. Still police did not proceed. I sent letter to CI with copy to DCP, CP, DGP and State Human Right Commission through registered post. After 20 days of incident police registered FIR online. And written that police received my complaint on the date on which FIR registered. Now I am afraid if police will delay the charge sheet or police may submit Report by supporting them.
Can you please advice what should be the action? Or in your experience how should I proceed if same thing happens?

The child of 12 years tutored by my ex-wife and does not even talk a word with me in spite of appearing before the family court. Counsellor (13 times ). The reason given is that the child is not willing. The relation with the child were affectionate before the divorce.
The ex-wife now seeks maintenance as was agreed upon in mutual agreement. At that time the ex agreed to the terms of access to child as framed by the court. She took away the part of money and then set the child against me.
What is the remedy now. Are there court case where the courts have stopped the maintenance to the tutored child.

Recovery of loan
My close relative took a personal loan (unsecured)in the year 2008 from ABN Amro, naturally upon agreement with ABN Amro Bank.. He made a part payment in that year. However, then his financial condition deteriorated and he was unable to pay the remaining balance amount. In the meantime, to my knowledge, ABN Amo Bank also sold the concerned division to Royal Bank of Scotland. Royal Bank of Scotland also sold the division to Kotak Mahindra Bank. My relative had also changed his residence in 2010. Now after 7 years ( almost 8 years), representatives from Kotak Mahindra Bank are harassing my relative for recovery of loan. Is the claim of Kotak Mahindra Bank legally valid ? Also, is it barred by limitation of time ? What legal stand and step should my relative take ? Thanks.
