My brother wants to cash gift of Rs 1,50,000.from his saving for construction of my house..how i prepare the legal document.Is there any limit for cash gift by the blood relatives. Is there any requirement for my brother to mention at his IT return or not.
In a case if first owner of the house is Husband and the second owner is One Of the Parent. Then is it possible that brother in law will claim for the house in future or a wife have the rights to claim for the house?

I have been married on jul 2011. We are living separate since Apr 2014. I have one daughter 5 years old. She belongs to Agra.
My wife had filed multiple cases against me and my family namely 498A, Domestic violence, sec 125. The prosecution is going for almost last 3 years. Now they are seeking compromise by agreeing on divorce with alimony. My daughter will be in her custody only. I want to mention my wife & inlaws are gundas who have ruined my life.
I want expert guidelines what all points i need to consider legally so that in future they cannot pitch into my life in any circumstances.

Hello everybody, my querry is that I own a house in our town which is located in a residential colony. But recently at the entrance of our colony some land in side the colony area one business man has opened a hardware shop( sanitary and heavy materials) as a result everyday heavy vehicles stop at the entrance of our colony which are blocking the entry of our vehicles( say cars and bikes and some times pedistrains have to wait) my doubt is how the municipality has given him permission to establish a shop which handles heavy materials in a residential area and whether such heavy vehicles are allowed as per law in to 50 feet road and unload material causing inconvenience to the normal public.?
Please let me find a solution so that our whole colony people will be helpful.

I booked a flat valuing rs. 30 lacs, by depositing rs. 15 lacs . As per agreement builder was required to give posssesssion within 1 year and pay interest @ 2% p.m. till possession. But builder paid interest for starting 5 months. He also not constructed the flat even after 2 years. I filed complaint in District consumer forum with prayers (i) to order builder to complete and provide possession and pay interest as per allotment letter and (ii) pay compensation for rs. 20.00 lacs for mental harrasement etc. My application was admitted and O.P. filed W.S. I also filed evidence. and the court instructed O.P. to file C.A. against evidence. But instead of submitting C.A., the O.P. filed application that since the value of flat and compensation demanded is (30 + 20 = 50 lacs ) more than 20 lacs, District forum has no power to hear the case. Please advise whether such type of application at this stage is valid . Advise what to do by me.

My wife has changed her Surname after marriage in the year 2013 by affidavit and publication the same in the local news paper (Govt. News Paper of Andaman &Nicobar Islands). Now my query is while applying for Govt. job whether she has to apply as per her new name or old name. Whether the short listing authority will accept her application along with supporting document i.e copy of affidavit for change of name or not.
