My mother expired in the year 2005 and was working in Punjab Govt. Department since 1982.The time she expired a vigilance case was pending against her for which once the judgement came against her in the year 2000, against which the case was filed/appealed at higher court. In the whole tenure since her joining to the Dept. she was not suspended for even a single day and was serving to Punjab Govt. the day she expired. but the Gratuity/PF/Pension and other payouts which are normally given the legal hire of the deceased are still not paid. Kindly suggest whether the department at their own discrition can hold the same or is there any law pertaining to this to hold all the payouts of deceased if any such case/judgement of court is pending the time of demise of an employee. Kindly suggest.. how i can file a case from our side to get all the dues..????

Due to water shortage from B.M.C the society had purchased water tanker from Outside.
Now the society is charging everyone a flat rate of Rs.1400/- irrespective whether you own 1HK, 1BHK or 2BHK thro a supplementary water charge bill. This over and above the regular society bill that recovers water charges for B.M.C water using bye law 69 a(ii).
The secretary and chairman along with managing committee is of the opinion that bye law 69 a(ii)water charges is not applicable in this case. But bye law 69 a(xiv) i.e any other charges is applicable.
Hence it was decided in the extra general body meeting, where attendance was not recorded nor was the minutes. However, later a circular was passed stating the attendees and the topic discussed was passed to the members.
Is is allowed or legal to apply bye law 69 a(xiv) instead of bye law 69 a (ii)? cause, the secretary refuses to understand written communication submitted by the members to rectify the same.
What course of action can i take to rectify the anomaly?
Divorce Process
I was married in Dec-09, my wife live me within 10 days and without telling any reason left the home. I try to contact her many times, but she didn't answer. Her father told me that she wants divorce, when I asked about the reason, he said that she don't love you. Through some sources, I come to know that she is engaged with some other guy from last three years and wants to live with him. Her father is asking for 4 lacs, while they expand just 2 lacs on marriage.
My question is what should I do, as they have threaten my family about 498A. If we choose for settlement what should be process and when should we make the payment & what will be the mode of payment.
