Sir,
I got a Central Information Commission's (CIC)decision, denying certain information, against which i am planning to move delhi high court.I have been denied certain information under the RTI Act,2005.
It is to submit that there are some favourable Delhi High Court's decisions in our favour in the instant case.
As per the RTI Act, there is no appeal against the CIC decision and hence a writ petition has to be moved.
It is also requested to advise whether the said writ petition can be moved in my place i.e. AP High Court or the Delhi High Court has the exclusive jurisdiction in such matters.
Kindly suggest a good advocate for the above purpose?
Thanking You,
H.Vijayakumar

Dear sir/madam,
I have retired under VRS scheme as a central govt staff before 11.06.2000 with 50% VRS amount. Subsequently, on 12.06.2000 the govt has revised the scheme to 100% benefit. The 50% VRS person filed a consumer complaint before the Consumer forum and succedeed the case. Subsequently, the govt has come on appeal before the State Commission, with the stand that VRS scheme's does not come under consumer protection act. The Complainants have filed the complaint under neglicence of the govt, as the govt has not considered the order the Hon'ble High Court to consider they plea for full 100% benefit. Kindly advise me accordingly.

Respected experts,
We are three brothers and two sisters, our father expired in 1990, without making any will. He hold two residential plots in his name. Now we want to transfer the same plots in our name.
Now my question is there any right of My sisters in that property, as father was expired in 1990 and Hindu Succession act was amended in 2005. Will this act has retrospective effect or the property will devolve in between three brothers only.
If there is any right of sisters then under which law it is declared.
Please advise accordingly.

sir
My father has 2 brothers and he was having a partnership firm with one of his brothers.now that firm is being dissolved.
in our house my grandmother(who died in 1992)had bought a lot of property in the names of her sons though the property was jointly owned. Now this one property was bought in 1975 in my chachas name who ws 17 yrs 11 months old at that time.
pls note that this ws bought by my grandmother ..just it had my chachas name in registry and he was 17 yrs old at that time.
As all properties are being distributed now(because of partnership being dissolved),my uncle refuses to give my fathers share in that property. He says that since the registry is in his name the prop belongs to him.....
Is there a legal way to fight it.Can legally a minor buy a property
Please guide

Sir,
I have won a consumer case with the local Coimbatore Consumer Rights Redressal Forum, Coimbatore District, Tamilnadu ; and my opponent has been issued a Non-Bailable Arrest warrant, last June 2009(Clearly mentioned 30days validity on the Warrant itself).
But unfortunately due to unforeseen reasons, I was not able to execute this warrant. We could only visit the local Police Station after the Warrant had expired.
Now,
The Sub-Inspector has asked to re-apply in the same court and get a currently vaild Warrant.
The issue is:
My lawyer says that Non-Bailable Warrant issued by the Consumer Court has no expiry date and if the the Police don't execute the Warrant as such, then we should appeal in court and ask the court to send an order to the concerned Police Station to accept and execute the same Warrant.
Please kindly advise the possiblities.
Question:
1.Is what my lawyer says is correct ? or I should re-apply and get a new Non-bailable Warrant issued ?
Hi,
A Partnership Firm having legit rights to develop a particular property wants to transfer these rights entirely to me and the same shall be documented in a JV Agreement. In order to keep documentation simple we plan to follow the below process:
1. Enter in JV Agreement (will not be Registered)
2. Partnership gives 'Irrevocable POA' to me with respect to managing day to day affairs of the company as sole executor with respect to the development of the Property without any say or control on part of the Partnership Firm.
3. Once development is done from my end using my funds and resources and abilities, i shall (as agreed in the JV Agreement) make a payout of the said amount from the Partnership Firm to my personal account.
4. Shall surrender the POA though it is automatically of no value anymore.
I NEED TO KNOW:
1. If an Irrevocable POA is enough to protect my investments of money and effort? (I do not want to create a seperate company, unless absolutely required)
2. If this POA needs to be registered? With whom and where?
3. Will i need to pay and Stamp Duty ? How will i ascertain how much to pay ?
THIS QUESTION PERTAINS TO MUMBAI, INDIA
In a complaint case, if accused are summoned by the court, can the accused appear through advocate to challenge the summoning, or is it mandatory to appear in person and get bail first before filing objections. can the accused appear through advocate before summoning and on the date of arguments on summoning, if it comes to knowledge to accused about the case.although criminal revision is another alternative but practically it is rarely allowed. pl reply with provisions.
