I have a question about the time a prisoner spends in the jail. We see that people come out of jail much earlier than their time. For example if a man gets 10 years sentenc, he comes out of jail after six or seven years. Please tell me that how the sentence is reduced.

A, a Muslim policeman, is killed in an encounter with the millitants. The government announces a special reward for his family. The reward includes a plot and some cash. The deceased is survived by a wife, children and parents. I want to know if his parents will get a share in his pension, plot and cash. Will Muslim law of inheritence come into play here?

Difference between section and article etc
When I study law books, I have noticed one thing that some law books have sections and some have articles, orders and rules. I want to know the difference between sections and articles. Are these synonymous terms, or there is any difference between these terms.
