i got married on 30.1.2009 at kolkatta,then shifted to bangalore with my husband and in-laws.After 5 months of marriage i filed DV Act at magistrate court.now its on evidence stage.i am staying separate from 01.04.2010 to till date.while my staying with my in-laws and my husband they made my life hell .. they torchered me mentally and physically.on july 2010 my husband filed divorce case on 13(ia)(ib). now my question is whether i can file 498a against them. ????? pls help me

SIR, MY LAWYER NEEDS TIME TO PREPARE THE CASE
1)AS PER HIM, MY CASE IS VERY DIFFICULT TO SOLVE AS MY WIFE IS DOING WITH PLANNING-AND HER LAWYER KNOWS WELL WHAT I CAN PROVE.
2)SIR, MY LAWYER SUGGEST ME TO FILE FOR DIVORCE INSPITE APPLYING CONJUGAL RIGHTS IN THAT CASE SHE CAN PUT ME UNDER ANY POLICE CASE AFTER COMING BACK.
3)SIR,CAN I KNOW THE SECTIONS UNDER WHICH I CAN PROTEST DOWRY TAKEN-MAINTENANCE-AGAIN DEMANDED DOWRY.
4)SIR,IS IT THE RIGHT TIME TO FILE FOR DIVORCE.

dear expert am thanks full for your response to my query..but i am confused on a point relating to quashing or FIR. my confusion is that i have to file Quashing Fir petition before the charge sheet is filed or after the filing of charge sheet.

one of my distant friend proposed to sell his land so i accepted his proposal and the amount was fixed for Seven lakh and i paid him Rs three lakh as an advance and the sale deed was signed. after that i put my own money to leveled the land and made it fit for living and on geting time i went to registerer office to registere the sale deed there i came to know that the plot of land was not his private land but a government land occupied by him and which was not alloted for his use so i asked him to returned my advance money but now for the last two month he not returning my money. what should i do to get back my money
1.should i file a civil suit or a criminal case
2.can i initiate both at a same time
i want my money back and i also want to punish him for this act
please suggest

Hi All,
I have been falsely alleged in ipc354 and ipc506 by my girlfriend and her new boyfriend. From last 2 months she remained isolated with and me changed numbers and address without informing me. One day she meet me in the market when i try to talk with me she starts shouting and her new boyfriend came me and start beating me and say this is teasing her, then both called police and lodged a FIR against me. Please help me as i seriously in severe mental depression from last 3 months firstly with cheating by her then by this case.

Sir,
I would like to know is there any citation/precedent on the point of filing Revision petition before the District Court in case of acquital against dismissal for default. I learned from my colleagues that a precedent was reported recently.

Is there any provision in the Criminal Procedure Code or High Court Rules that in the eventuality of non availability of local surity in a Section 138 N I Act case personal bond will suffice.
