406 & 420 - help plz. urgent

Hi,

I am facing 498a/125 crpc/child custody/section 97 cases filed by my wife. In all these cases I am respondent and am on regular bail in 498a since a year now. 498a trial has not yet started however chargesheet is filed in mar-2010

Recently I got a call from a police station nearby my inlaws house asking me to come for a statement related to streedhan. I have asked for a time near to this weekend and they agreed. I tried asking for more details but they simply told that your wife has filed case to get sreedhan back and we need your statement.

I talked to my lawyer and he told me that my wife might have filed 406/420 etc. and no need to worry but I have heared that these are non bailable offence.

Just wanted to know from experts on
1) what could be case my wife/in-laws might have started against me
2) what should I do? and what precaution I should take,
3) Is there any possibility of an arrest?
4) any other advice which might be useful.
5) Is these non bailable?

Thanks,
PC

Criminal case u/s 304A of IPC , in case of a govt. job

Sir

I have a query ,
Breif Facts : In case of a govt. college Lecturer, driving a car ,gets involved in a road accident with a bike and the person riding the bike dies, although no fault of the driver of car is proved , although case is pending u/s 304A of IPC in district court.

I wanted to ask what will be the consequence in case of conviction of the car driver ( even if it is a compensation award) in case of government job of the driver ?

Whether it amounts to moral turpitude or not ?

Whether their ll be any effect on the govt. job status?

Motor Accident Case under IPC 337 & 279

Dear Sir,

While driving with my family, One guys jumped in front of my vehicle and had a fractured left hand. I took him to Hospital and offered him medical help and agreed to pay for his treatment and also (as he appeared from a poor family) to pay Rs. 200 per day till the time he is recovered, which he agreed but after 1 hour, his employer started demanding Rs. 2.00 lac and threatned to me face police and legal battle. Police was also present and they told me to go ahead with case as it was not my fault and I had valid DL and Insurance.

This was in 2005 but since last 6 years, the case is still hanging and every few months, I have to spend a day in the court. Due to my job I cannot be present every time and in such cases my lawyer represents me (by charging a BIG fee).

Need your expert advice to proceed further and get out of this case. I am ready to pay him something but he want 5,00,000/-.

Thanks,

Dimple Singh Arora
