sir,In 1995 my father made a will in which he distributed all his movable and immovable property between me,my 4 sisters,my wife and my daughters in which he made me the executor.
In 1998 my father died, after that the property was distributed as per his will and all the mutations took place.
In 2001 my 4 sisters jointly gave me registered p.o.a.empowering me to act on behalf of them for each and every work as they live in different place and i acted as their direction and sold some of their residential plots and deposited all money to their accounts where they have debit balances.
In 2013(after 15 years of death of my father) my 4 sisters published a notice in news paper for cancelling the p.o.a. and served me a legal notice of making a false will and demanded equal share in property.I responded that legal notice clarifying all the facts. After that they did not acted upon the matter.
now recently in sept.2014,one of my sister who resides abroad made a police complaint that she was not in india at the time of execution of the p.o.a and the signature is of somebody else and attached passport copy as a proof.
other 3 sisters are not saying a word in this matter. The p.o.a. was sent to me by my sisteres to my place where i reside.I was not present in that place where the p.o.a. was executed.
In newspaper notice and in legal notice they all 4 accepted that they have given the p.o.a
to me.
Can I sue them for defamation and mental harresment? or any other suggestions which you like please advice.

Hi I am Indian and i want to get married to a foreigner ( from a Muslim Country) who had come to study to India. I understand that once we get married we have to get our marriage registered with the Registrar Of Marriages and then she has to give a Form 3 to renunciate her present citizenship.
I want to ask you what happens BETWEEN when she gives up her present citizenship ( that is when she POSTS the Form 3 to Ministry of external Affairs) and when she gets her Indian citizenship. What will be her status during that period of time.
I am sure i have missed out a lot of legal points as i am not a lawyer, please highlight them and oblige and help with a revert.

Hello Sir(S),
Please help me the query below -
My mother has an SB account and a locker with SBI. Both of them were not having nominations. Not sure as nomination should be made mandatory, but thats not the case in SBI (personal experience). Unfortunately, my mother expired 8 months back.
Now when we try for the SB account, bank is having the process ready and we can get the money etc in that (not taken yet). But at the same time, the locker is linked to the bank account and no-one from bank(including Branch Manager), the SBI customer care, the bank linked lawyer is able to give me the procedure or documents required to get the contents withdrawn from the locker.
Sometimes, I am advised to get succession certificate, sometimes they say letter of administration. Currently, the new lawyer whom we contacted, informed us that Letter of succession will do, but I am confused now after reading the query at -
http://www.lawyersclubindia.com/experts/Section-372-of-indian-succession-act--480756.asp#.VCwlGB0ybfs
So please advise me if succession certificate is enough to get the contents from the locker or if not, what is the procedure and what all documents are required so that I can get the contents of my account. Here, "I" refers to my father who is alive and is the applicant.
I cannot update the above link as I am not an expert. Hence opened a new thread. Please forgive me for that.
I want to know how much time period for recovery of Loan amount in civil case. How long the case is run. The plaintiff argument is done now defendant argument is pending.

After shifting to my rented house I observed that the landlord had been using my electrical line for lighting his staircase, frontdoor light and pump. After objection the behaviour of the son-in-law of the landlady, who is actually calling all the shots, completely changed. For using the water connection we have to depend on them and sometimes they intentionally changed the control of flow in such a way that we received no water. The outlet of their toilet in the first floor has been leaking for quite sometime making a mess in our part. One day they completely isolated our flat in such a way that it would be impossible for us to adjust the control of flow of water. After severe protest on our part it has been changed partially. What should we do in such a situation? ?

Sir,
We are three brothers and one sister and have an ancestral agriculture land. Our father expired in June 1999.After the death of our father, our names are mutated on land record of our ancestral property. one of my brother filed a partition suit for the said land in 2004 in which he has not given any share to my sister. Our sister is unmarried. All of us are staying separately after the death of our father. Sir, my question is as per Hindu succession whether my sister is entitled to get equal share in our ancestral property. The partition suit is still pendding in civil court. We are stayin in Pune, Maharashtra.
