Whether Annexures file with the petition are also brought into records?

Dear Sir,
One of the friend has asked about the documents into records before the High Court

My query is Before supreme Court we use to file only the petitions,Replies, Rejoinder,Appeal without annexures in the paper book

Whether its necessary that we should also file the same manner before the High Court

I mean to say if we delete the annexures and file only petition, reply, Rejoinder without annexures before the High Court

interest for delay and damages/costs

I have received my mediclaim money from an PSU insurance company after huge delay and harrassment.

I intend to ask for interest and damages/costs from the company.

What rate of interest can I ask for? And how much damages/costs (due to innumerable reminders, telecons, etc for a period of one year)should I ask for? How much is generally awarded by the courts or by the Ombudsman.

Filing of records

If high court investigates a matter and peruses some records, Is it mandatory to file all records to be relied upon through the registry or can these be perused and relied upon by court without bringing/filing them on record ?
