Some people from building causing damage to car

Dear Experts,

I have a car which is parked in the alloted parking space in the society compound.

Somebody purposely broke the headlight of the car. The security guards have rotating shifts. Everyone is saying that it dint happen when he was around.

I have not yet approached the insurance company. I may or may not get a claim. But my question is, dont I have any right to lodge a police complaint against anyone. I have strong doubt, that this has been done by someone purposefully.

Kindly guide.

My Friend is a Member of a co-operative Society and has given his Flat on Leave and Licence Basis.

Money recovery without informal document

During 2007, some of my college friends pooled money together and gave it to another friend of theirs for investing in stock market. There was no formal agreement drawn but a number of emails were exchanged in which the friend who invested money promised to return the money. But he has not kept his promise and not even returning phone calls/emails. Are there any recovery options against him? This happened in Nasik,Maharashtra.

Calculating interest of decretal amount

Hi Everybody there !
I seek your advice & guidance on the following proposition of law:
"District Judge decreed suit for Rs.5 lakh directing the JD to pay within two months failing which the decretal amount would be surcharged 12% interest thereon.JD filed appeal on expiry of 2 months.HC stayed the operation of decree subject 'defendant/JD depositing DECRETAL amount with Registrar HC.JD deposited as directed.Appeal came to be dismissed after two years. The DH withdrew money depositted.Subsequently filed execution regarding interest on the decretal money for the period the Principal amount remain custody of HC.During this period it incurred 6% interests whereas as [er original decree confirmed by HC interest payable is 12%.JD pleads in EP that he is not liable as (i) neither HC directed at the time of admitting appeal anything regarding interest, nor he has intentionally defaulted & (ii)Since he had depositted the principal decretal amount within the stipulated time,he was not bound to pay interest @ 12% & whatever interest has been incurred while the amount remained in Fixed Deposit by RG/HC,is the only interest payable to DH.
What is the legal position?Plz support your advice by citing some relevant judgments.I shall be obliged.
Regards !!!!
