I would like to ask question regarding a woman who born prior to 1956 is entitle to get share in ancestral properties along with her brothers. She is unmarried. But father died before 1956. What remedy is available. Whether she be called as co parcener ? what is her share ? In Parvat Chandra Pattnaik And Ors V/s Sarat Chandra Pattnaik And anr, it is held that the daugher whenever she may have born, she is entitle to get share. But I am little bit confused. An married daughter, is she entitle for her share in the ancestral properties ? Are there any recent rulings please provide.

can a persons property be attached other than under execution.in which case court have power to attach without execution process.

eviction case is filed ag. me for non payment of rent. i put in appearance after summons were served on me.therafter i didnot file w/s despite court levied costs. case was posted for ex-parte evidence. and i moved an application to set aside exparte evidence. plaintiff agreed and court set aside exparte evidence does it mean i have got right to file w/s also. while setting aside exparte evidence court posted the case to consideration and assessment of rent

Respected Sir(s). You might have aware that I am victim of dowry law misuse committed by my daugther-in-law, and her FIR is subjudice and stayed by Hon'ble High Court on my aapplication for quashing of the same. When she failed to black mail me, she filed Divorce Petition. Inspite of all details supplied to our lawyers, she maanaged to close her Cross EExamination in one day just by her evidence recorded in one page. In fact actual cross examination could not made by my advocate, because I am from Delhi and case in Howrah (WB). Can we apply for recalling her for further cross examination?

Meri shaadi 9.12.2010 ko hui thi. Tab se meri aur meri wife ki aapas main nahi banti, meri wife aur meri saas meri mother aur meri sister ko tab se preshan or mentaly torture karte hai, isse tang aakar meri mother ne mujhe apni property se mujhe " Baidkhal" May 2010 main kar diya hai, ab main aur meri wife alag rah rahe hai, main bahar rent par rahta hu, aur meri wife aur meri saas meri mother ki property main jabarjasti rah rahe hai. Aur meri wife ne ek din apne gale me khud kharoch mar kar, 100 par phone karke mere younger brother pe Ilzaam laga diya, isse tang aakar meri mother, sister and younger brother tab se bahar rent par alag rah rahe hai, aur meri mother ki property par mere saare sasural wale rah rahe hai, ab please hume batoa kya karna chahiye, woh hame baar baar 498A ki Dhamaki dete hai, aise main hum ko kya karna chahiye.

Assessment of rent
eviction case filed on basis of non payment of rent and subletting is fixed for assessment of rent.i had signed an rent agreement and paid rent by crossed cheques for few months thereafter i commited default in payment of rent. after assessment will ihave to pay rent or is there any ground i can prolong the case.sub lettes have vacated during pendency of the case and possession is with landlord.will ihave to pay full rent as per agreement or ican put forward my plea that landlord cannot claim rent in full as half portion is alredy vacated and possession is with landlord. plenlighten me.
