I request for legal opinion, on the following:
HDFC Bank is not crediting to Savings Bnak account, the amounts refunded by Merchants on the past settled Credit Card transactions. Instead they are keeping the refunded amounts in Credit Card account to be adjusted against the debits i.e. purchases already done through credit card or future purchases to be done through credit card. When questioned by me they are telling that the net credit amount available on Credit Card a/c, (after adjusting the dues to Bank) will be transferred to S.B.A/c, in case I make a special request every time when such refundal comes. They are not accepting my standing instructions for the transfer of the refunded amount to S.B.A/c. I strongly feel that , by not crediting such refunded amounts to my S.B.A/c. direct, the bank is denying my right to draw such refunded amounts on which the bank is not having any lean. Kindly give expert advise. This might have happened to the respected members of Legalclub also and what they did in such cases. Kindly give your expert opinion. V.Gopala Krishna, Hyderbad.

Hi,
I want to start a small soap manufacturing unit and have some queries:
a. My initial fixed assets are under Rs. 6,00,000. Do I need a small scale industries license?
b. I live in Delhi, can I start up the unit within my residence? Are there any permits I need for this?
c. Do I need a cosmetics license to start up the unit? What happens if I start up the unit without one?
I would appreciate all the help from this forum.
Regards,
Akash

one indian computer company working in Gujarat and registered as private limited company was doing job work for foreign companies.
since 16 months it has stopped to work. what is the prodecure to wind up the company?
Dear Sir,
An agreement contains a clause "...the agreement shall be effective from the date of commencement of the C&F operation by the Agents and shall be in force until its determination by the either party by giving notice of three months..." And the agreement is in force for last 12 years with same terms and conditions. Now the parties hereto want to execute a fresh agreements with new terms and conditions. Is it necessary to terminate the existing agreement and then go for a new one? or is it a novation of contract within the meaning of the Act? If so then what is the process of novation?
Regards.
