Is anybody is aware abt Commodity Exchange of India.

A public listed company into manufacturing business wants to apply for the membership of Commodity Exchange of Inida. Can it do so. If so what compliances are required to be fullfilled.Few compliances come in my mind alike.


1. The activity of sale and purchase in commodity should be included in the main object or the company should get the main object altered.

2. The may also require to inform the stock exchange about its new line of business.
3. Approval of the Board of directors

If anybody is aware abt the concept and compliances involed pls share your knowlede.

When my lease period expire, do my landlord have legal right to vacate me , without buying back (goodwill, furniture’s, movable amenities , hotel license & business) which I bought from my landlord when I entered into hotel business lease through single agreement deed . (All in one agreement deed)

I bought (goodwill, furniture’s, movable amenities , hotel license & business) through sale deed by paying some Amount . ( it’s not transfer) The landlord offered to SELL & I bought them …

Is the following lines in the my agreement help me to me for this?
(with the option to the tenant to renew the agreement for further period on such terms & condition as may be mutually agreed upon.)

what are the legal effects of non registration of a partnership deed? There is a partnership firm incorporated upon a non registered partnership deed. I am one of the partners in the above and would like to know what are the legal effects if I have to insitute a suit on the partners? What documents i need to collect to claim my share in the partnership deed.

Landlord buy back goodwill

Liability for dishonour of cheque

Dear Experts,

Please opine wrt sec. 138 of the NI Act.

A cheque was issued without any date. There was no dispute about the liability. How ever, the cheque was disnonoured on account of stop payment instruction from the drawer. The cheque was drawn in the capacity of a partner on behalf of partnership firm.

In the above circumstances, what are the civil and criminal liability of the signing partner/ other partners/ firm.
