Hi,
Due to a small tiff with the housing society secretary, we have stopped receiving the monthly maintenance bills. As a result the managing committee has added my name under the defaulters’ lists. I did not keep any pending bills till date. Payment was always prompt. Since i didn’t receive the bill for last couple of months i have not paid. I sent a registered letter to the society office regarding non-receipt of maintenance bills in the month of October, but no response as yet. I filed a complaint in MHADA but no effect then also. What are my options? Can some good housing society lawyer please advice on my course of action?
I was issued a cheque for Rs 1 lakh in the year 1999,by a person of Kerala state whereas I belong to U.P.The cheque was dishonoured and I filed a case under Instrument of Nogotiable Act at Lucknow. However proceedings were initiated but since I was away from India, my advocate boasted of many actions, however nothing happened and the file was closed. The problem is that my advocate is not forthcoming for information on the subject.
What if I would want to start afresh?
What if the Kerala police would not be handy to execute the court orders of UP.
Kindly suggest.

Is it possible to register this society under THE HIMACHAL PRADESH CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES ACT,1968 in HP for ruuning its operation at Chandigarh? Or do we have to register the same under some other Central ACt?

As per Supreme Court rulings, all ACRS are to be reviewed in natural justice manner if the individual represents against downgrading the ACRs but officials have not followed the process despite repeated requests 2. The officials have also diluted the authentication of my achievements thus tampering these against me without giving me in writing. Is this comes under corruption for not following the statutory rules? Under what act? Pl help me to eradicate corrupt practices in science.
