Hi,
Can you please confirm whether case under Section 12(1) of DV act is criminal proceeding or civil case.
I have case against me and it's almost at ending statge ( order are pending).
I am applying for passport and i need to select yes or no in form where its asking "Provide the following details if there are any criminal proceedings pending against the applicant".
Please guide me whether i need to select Yes or No in passport application.

my father expired on 1/09/2019 and from 2/09/2019 to 9/09/2019 my minor son operated his grandfather account by withdrawing money from atm machine the pin number which is grandfather gave to him he was not nominee to his grandfathers account what the law says for action on minor for operation of deceased account will it create any probl

Dear Sir
I have brought a Wrist watch from ebay and when received the same was not operation i file a complain with e bay they said it is in warranty and even the seller contacted and said to check the battery
Hence i visited a watch shop to get the battery changed, but the shopkeep said that the watch is defective and also the battery in dead
hence i ask ebay to replace the watch but twice they rejected the claim saying this is under warranty
hence i need guidance to file a complain against ebay and the seller as the watch was delivered nonoperational

Kindly reply to my query.
I have done B.Tech + LLB. I couldn't get into law profession after LLB. I joined a US based Software firm and into programming (no way related to legal/finance). My salary is credited to bank account and I pay tax too.
Now, can I enroll as Advocate also? Is that against rules? I am in full-time employee in private company and its not related to Law.

Hello to all , i give cheque of 50k to person as security. and after clear all dues with him, i make stop payment of cheque from online net banking sbi. after 2 month when i check statement, i check that that cheque is bounce by him and bank deduct charges too. my question is -
1. how bank deduct charges if i stop payment already
2. is section 138 is same for both condition, a. cheque is active (not stop payment) and , or b. cheque payment stop and cheque is inactive. but bank bounce.
please help me.
simple thing can anyone deposit cheque that is stop payment already . and bank bounce it and he want to take legal action against me , on this bounce cheque.

Dear experts,
I give money to my neighbor in his emergency situation without any agreement. After 2 days he give me written statment in normal white paper and ask me he'll give me my money with in one year.
Now one year is finish when I ask him to return my money he always tell me for wait and he is trying to arrange . What should I do ? Suggest me expects is it any legal option for this situation?

Me n my mother are legal heirs of two shops after my father's death in 1992. Shops are in ground floor in a complex, Hubli, Karnataka. My mother's brother took over the business n other responsibilities and occupied the mezanine n rented the ground part to their known tenant. Tenant have dug a pit for wheel balancing without our knowledge n Complex owner have filed case against us for tenants misconduct. The notice is received by my mother's brother (tenant is aware of it. ) n appeared in case on behalf of us. They have run the case in my n my mother's name from 2010 till 2016 without our knowledge with forged signs. Now we came to know of this case n I submitted a written letter to the judge present at that time that the case is run without our knowledge n we have not appointed any lawyer. She told to appoint new lawyer. I want to complain against the lawyer who appeared on our behalf. No lawyer is supporting me in this case. How to approach Bar Council, what documents I need to produce, what is the procedure please let me know.

Fee refund query
hello,,,
I have taken admission in one of leading Law college at Noida, 5 yr course, for which I have paid Rs.40,000/- as fees in the month of June,17.
the college have provided me the receipt of Rs.40,000/- and the balance fees of Rs.45,000/-.
the session has already been started but I have not joined any single class there as I don't like to study there due to its poor reputation.
Query...
Can I get my full or part fees back
and How.
