BE it enacted by Parliament in the Twenty - fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
1.Short title and Commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Authorised Translations (Central Laws) Act, 1973.
(2)It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
2.Authorised translations of Central laws in certain languages.- A translation in any language (other than Hindi) specified in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution, published under the authority the President in the Official Gazette,-
(a)of any Central Act or of any Ordinance promulgated by the President, or
(b)of any order, rule, regulation or bye-law issued under the Constitution or under any Central Act,
shall be deemed to be the authorised translation thereof in such language.
3.Power to make rules.- (1) The Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, make rules for carrying out the purposes of this Act.
(2)Every rule made under this section shall be laid, as soon as may be after it is made, before each House of Parliament, while it is in session, for a total period of thirty days which may be comprised in one session or in two or more successive sessions, and if, before the expiry of the session immediately following the session or the successive sessions aforesaid, both Houses agree in making any modification in the rule or both Houses agree that the rule should not be made, the rule shall thereafter have effect only in such modified form or be of no effect, as the case may be; so, however, that any such modification or annulment shall be without prejudice to the validity of anything previously done under that rule.

I am a teaching faculty in an autonomous institutuion under governement of karnataka.I joined this institution as assistant professor against a vacant post based on the previous experience in private dental college recognised by dental council of India (DCI)in 2008. The minimum required qualification was minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a DCI recognised institution after postgraduation. I had 6 years of experience at the time of recruitment. recruitment had not taken place in the institution for a long time.In the same dapartment there is a assistant professorwho had assistant professor in 2007 by promotion from a junior post. Her total number of years of teaching experience is lesser than that of mine by 6 months.and I had served in the same cadre post in private institution since 2005.who will be senoir among us? DCI recognises my previous experience.even t he university recognises my previous experience. hower though I have been recruited to the post based on my previous experience, they say my teaching experience as of now is only 2 years and8 monthe. there are 3 tier system in the department senior lecturer, assistant professor, professor.

Hello
I travelled with my wife to destination A , their was one stopover , but due to delay we had to take 2 stopovers , but while boarding at the 2nd stopover we were assured that our luggage will be travelling with us to the destination A,but it wasn't to be ,We got our luggage after 1 day , and that too it was broken from the retract handle ,so we had to carry the 23 kg bag it all our trip.
Now , even though we reported the damage at the time of receiving it in destination A ,after coming back ,I want to file for the following claims with the airlines,
1)Loss due to delay of luggage
2)Claim for Inconvenience of carrying the luggage all along our trip
3)Claim for damage to bag
4)Claim for international calls that we had to do for getting our luggage.
pls give me some case laws.

Hello friends and seniors,
i just wanted to know if a lawyer got registered in Bar coucil of a state i.e Punjab and want to pratice in Delhi or Mumbai high court does he need to register again in the respective Bar council for practiving in the respective bar council. or is it like once got registerd in a Bar Council so he can practice in any Bar within the territory on India, friends please do let me know the the procedure for the same..

Whether when Insurance Co. is challenging the Award only with respect to S.149(2),permission under S.170 is still needed in filing appeal? To me it is not legally required.Want a ruling for this as urgent.

Dear Sir,
My client is a owner of one Fashion boutique. He received a remmitance from US in the name of his boutique. But now he incorporated a new private limited company. Now he wants that his proprietorship business shall come under Private limited company and his remitance can be received in private limited company. Is this is possible?
