Sir facts relating to my query for A.Y. 2005-06 are:
Sales subject to VAT Rs.10,00,000
Consignment/Branch Transfer Rs.5,00,000
Total sales Rs.15,00,000
Total Purchases (4% + 12.5%) Rs.10,00,000
ITC on above (4% + 12.5%) Rs.1,00,000
Now i want to calculate the reversal amount (apportionment for branch transfer)??
I am little bit confused over 2 methods which are:
1st method:
Reversal amount= 1,00,000*5,00,000/15,00,000 = 33333
2nd method:
Reversal Amount= 5,00,000*10,00,000*4/15,00,000*100 = 13333
PLEASE SOLVE MY QUERY RECITING APPLICABLE RULES AND TAX LAWS.

sir, how much cenvat claim can we take on pistal seal used in mould. whether it is 50% or 100%
How can we take a stay/injunction on the attached order of entry tax?
This as anomaly in rate of central excise duty on bulk drugs and formulations, the Pharma industry as whole in the country, is at disadvantage. In excise free zones, the 8% excise duty (charged on bulk drugs is being added to the cost of the finished products: if it becomes 4%(as on the finished products) then the cost of the finished products will be reduced.
Seniors plz help own this issue as i need to take an injunction against the attached notification, how should i go about it?

A person(who is unmarried and presently dead) has made huge transactions in crores of rupees in his bank account. The case has been taken-up for investigation by the I.T.Department to examine the source and to crystalise the liability of the deceased. The business of the assessee which was carried in his proprietory capacity was closed. The nominees of the person are his parents as could be seen from his bank accounts. The deceased has not left any property in his name. How to collect the Incometax liability of the deceased ?. Is the I.T.Department competent to apportion the tax liability of the deceased from the bank balances standing to the credit of the deceased which are being claimed by the nominees. What is the legal position in the matter.?
