cenvat credit on piston seal

sir, how much cenvat claim can we take on pistal seal used in mould. whether it is 50% or 100%

100%, if bought separately. otherwise also as per definition of capital goods under section 2(a) of the cenvat credit rules, 2004, the components, spares or parts are capital goods only in respect of items covered under the clause(ii) and (iii) of the Rule ibid.so you can show these as separetly bought items to be used in the moulds.
