I have some queries regarding Maharashtra Co-operative Housing Society matters. They are
1. What is the minimum and maximum tenure of the Managing Committee of Co-operative Housing Society as per Maharashtra Co-op Soc. Act / Bye laws.
2. Whether the Proposer and Seconder of the candidature can exercise this right more than one time. In other words whether a proposer can propose names of more than one candidate for the election of members of managing committee.
Similarly for seconder too, whether he can second names of more than one candidate for the election of members of managing committee.
DEAR EXPERTS,
KINDLY CLARIFY IN DETAIL ITEM-WISE THE FOLLOWING:
(1) WHAT ARE THE DOCUMENTS TO BE VERIFIED WHILE PURCHASING A FLAT (IN CHENNAI)?
(2) WHAT ARE THE PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN WHILE PURCHASING A FLAT?
(3)IF THE HOUSING PROJECT IS APPROVED BY LEADING BANKS, WHETHER VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS IS STILL NECESSARY?

market value versus government value
I want to buy a plot whose government value is 20 lakhs whereas the market rate is 40lakhs. Will the Sub Registrar accept full 40 lakhs from me while the government value is only 20lakhs? I am ready to pay the required stamp duty for the full market value of that plot.
