My father purchased a piece of land in Tamilnadu in 1988. We live in Chennai but the property is in Tirunelveli district. We recently came across the document and saw that his first name is mentioned wrongly. He is 80 years old now and he can't move around freely.
1.What is the procedure to correct the name and file rectification deed.
2. what will be the cost to make the changes including lawyers fees.
3. How much time will it take to do the rectification.
4. What are the documents that will be required. (We are not aware of the current whereabouts of the seller as it was done more than 35 years back)

Can anyone buy two different properties at some distance(Not Adjoining) in a single khasra Number
from two different person under a single sale/purchase deed without mentioning sides( East ,West,North ,South).
If yes, under which rules or act.

We live on the 3rd floor of a of a 3 storey building. We get water through overhead tank, once the water is supplied the entire water due to gravity goes to ground floor and we are hardly receiving 300ltrs of water for 2 days. The pipe that supplies water from the overhead tank is of the same width across all 4 floor. Is there any law for equal distribution of water across all floors?

I have a very irritating neighbour, his dog always poops on my car ramp so today I confronted him and he started shouting at me and he threatened me that he would destroy the car ramp as it is build on road please tell me what should I do , also I am not the only one who has a car ramp in the colony but he is threatening me ... We stay in a society where there are 3 buildings our opposite building has separate water connection for 2nd & 3rd floor whereas we have a common pipe of same across all 4 floors supplying water. When the water is supplied all the water flows to the ground floor and the pressure at which the water is received by third floor members is low. Can the third floor members install pump in order to create pressure & get water?

Vacant land in my possession
I am stying in Mumbai Suburban in MHADA room tenament (chawl type room), my actual on record room area is 250 sq. ft. and having additional 250 sq.ft vacant area in front of the my house on which i use 150 sq.ft for additional room construction and rest 100 sq.ft i kept as passage and garden. i.e. we took the vacant open area in our possession.
Now MY QUESTIO IS THAT in case of Redevelopment process what happended if buillder will not give any benefit for this additional 250 sq.feet area in my possesison. How can i protect the possesion of that 250 sq.ft additional space.
