sir,
My grand mother(i.e my father mother) gave her property(i.e acentural property) to me by registered WILL by putting my father as guardian on that property for his life time.My grand mother & my father both expired.Probate of WILL not required in my state.I have one own sister & also I am married & my family members are wife,2 sons. Now my doubt is
1)Whether the property obtained to me is now SELF Acquired or Accentral property to me
2)Is there any equal rights on that property for my sister OR for my family members with me

i purchased the rights of the property from A . A executed an ATS, GPA etc ( unregistered ) . A also executed a will in my favour which was duly registered . I applied for probate . Notice issued . defendent appeared . thereafter did not appear . the court passed an ex parte probate order in my favour on 18.8.2010. In the LOA i have been directed by court to submit the full and true inventory and list of of the said property within six months in court . it has also been mentioned if i do not file inventory in six months the probate order will be revoked . my advocate is saying that mentioning of filing inventory by the court is just a standard format and i need not file anything . kindly advise what is the correct legal position /proposition. thanks

As per order of supreme court in Nahalchand Laloochand p ltd. above case. Builder or promoter has no right to sale anything of flat. other than un sold flat.
I understood this.
Is this right or not?

I am from North Maharashtra and I have a few concerns regarding rightful heirs and property distribution of an alive person. My current family chain consists of my Grandmother at the highest level, who has 4 children - 1st Son (my father), 2nd Son (my uncle), 3rd Son (my uncle) and 4th Daughter (my aunt). Unfortunately my Grandfather ( passes away in 2010) and my Father had passed away( passes away in 1993) and are not with us anymore. The agriculture land property (3 acre) that my Grandfather possesses was inherited by him from our ancestors Still property is on his account and my grandmother possesses agriculture land property(15 Acre) from her mother is still on her account and have 4 plot on grandfathers account( Out of them 3 are constructed in our village) she wants to give away the property wholly and entirely to my aunt and 2nd uncle. My predicament is that I fail to understand the rightful heirs in this case as he is living. Moreover, as part of the property was inherited by him as well, I reckon we should have some rights too, however I am vaguely familiar with property laws and would want your insight on this.
1. What is the right way of splitting up the property in accordance with Indian Law, considering my Grandfather is dead?
2. Do we have any rights to his/her inherited property?
3. In case we do have rights, what would be appropriate way to approach this problem with respect to Indian Law, bearing in mind that this unjust distribution has occurred or is in the process of occurring soon.
4.
I will be looking forward to your reply. Please answer my concerns to the most details that you can furnish and any additional information would be highly appreciated.
Thank you.

I am resident of Mumbai since 1972 in a chawl under pagdi system.Tenancy rights of the said property is in the name of private co. I was working in the said company during the period 1.4.70 to 31.10.1992. I am paying monthly rent by cheque since 1985.Mean time the said company liquidated in 1993.I have not received my statutory dues till date. The matter is pending before Debt Recovery Tribunal.
company had given me letter of no objection
to transfer tenancy rights in my favor.
Now my query is regarding tenancy right please guide me.
The landlord is demanding 1/3 of the market price to give tenancy rights. In this case what can i do ?
