Hi,
My grandfather who inherited 27 acres of land (in Punjab, India) from his ancestors put 10 acres on my grandmother’s name, 10 acres on my father’s name and when I was born put 5 acres on my name. He died a few years ago and in his will left the remaining 2 acres to me. My father remarried and now does not get along with my grandmother or me. To ensure that nothing comes to me he is selling his share of the land. My grandmother and I are against it. We are emotionally very attached to it as my Grandfather did not sell it during his tough times and always wanted us to do the same.
Is there something we can do to prevent him from selling it? We have no problems with him in using the land in any way he wants, but we don’t want him to sell it.
Thank you.

Sir,
I have 10 Bighas of agricultural land (mandi, Himachal pradesh) in my possession but few days bacck I got to know that I am listed as kashtkar on that land. And it's actual owner is stated to be some widow of some zamindar.
She has her name as owner since and before freedom and her whereabout's are not know since long before freedom and nothing is known about her legal hires either. Even my house land is in same situation.
Now I am confused if I have any legal right on this property or not. I have inherited this land from my ancestors. And I am not the only one with this situations as most of the land around mine is also in her name with current occupants as kastkar's.
So, the question is that Is it possible to get mutation of this land in my name and how ?
Thank you very much.

Can a leave and license agreement be made in the state of Assam for letting out a commercial property?
If the Assam urban areas rent control Act 1972 does not mention anything about leave and license agreement can an agreement be made for leave and license for letting out a commercial property?

Respected Sir / madam,
our sites got registered in our names during NOV 2004 and the purchased plots holds DC conversion order in Bangalore North ( Singa pura ) near Lakshmipura in survey no 94. The Banks financed us in purchasing the said sites, But now as usual the earlier landlord has filed the case among themselves as partition case and obtained temporary injection order by misleading the court that the land is agricultural one.
Our case no : OS 1765/12.
Could you kindly let me know the status of my case.
Thanking you
Hari

Is it possible to get a power of attorney in Delhi, if the property is located in Patna?
If yes, then what is the process and documentation involved.

Hello sir/Mam,
what is the process to get power of attorney in property.
Dear Experts
I wish to know few details :
my husband deceased on 20.12.2010 and in his name there is an agricultural property which was registered through a family partition deed in the year 2004.
after the partition deed my husband got mutation, E.c. , Khata transferred and availed bank loan in his name.
now I ( wife of the deceased) have applied for the transfer of khata, rtc and necessary documents in my name, My in laws had made an objections.
Stating that i am not the legal heir and my son who is of now 11 years (and i am taking care of him) is the legal heir of the property.
In the sub-registrar office the judge is also forcing me to have either in my son name me being minor by guardian or else having property in joint names
Can i have in my name ( singal owner of the property)
whether is there any rules that i should have jointly khata transerred ( myself and my son)
does the judge have the power to implement in joint name without my consent as i have applied i my name.
and can i apply a case in loka yukta for the same.

Respected Lawyers,
My maternal grandfather and grandmother have passed away long time back and my grandfather's property was not divided to any childrens which is a ancestral property. My mother had 2 brothers and both have passed away 10 yrs back. My mother's elder brother was married and have no kids and younger brother was not married. The entire property is now in elder brothers widow name aged around 60 yrs and has been enjoying this till date.
It has come to our notice recently that she is planning to sell the property and also have taken loans against this property and has kept my mother in dark.
My mother, aged 55 yrs has 2 sons(myself and my brother). My Mother is unhappy with what his brother's widow is doing and want this assets to legally pass to grandchildrens thru her. We want to know how much of rights we have and how much share in the property she can claim as we are the only 2 grandchildrens in this family.
Please address this issue as a matter of urgency as this is passing out of out hands and want to retain this by applying to court.
Thanks,
Vikram
