hello sir,
Please help me on the following issue regarding Punjab Jurisdiction:-
- A bank taken a property (non agriculture land & building) in punjab area on equitable mortgage basis. After sanction of loan they want to apply for lien mark on the said property as such they will be prevented from any kind of fraud.
- As such they apply to Tehsildar for lien mark and similarly Tehsildar send it to Patwari, however Patwari reject the same and said they does not lien mark for Equitable Mortgage Property.
Now my question is that whether in Punjab Jurisdiction lien mark is not done for equitable mortgage property and if lien mark is mandatory then why Patwari is not making lien mark.
Please guide me with the help of suitable case laws, if any.

Dear seniors & friends
My client consulting me "that his friend executed a general power of attorney in the year of 1999 without mentioning the period of limitation, the same was still not yet cancelled by the pricipal of POA, so now my client intent to sale the property on the strenght of POA to some other person, so he asked me the period of limitation for POA as per law,
Hence kindly advise me relevant provision

sir,i had opened PPF Account.
that time i didnt knew that NRI can not open PPF Account.
I am marine engineer by profession and my source of income is from abroad.
I do stay in india for 6 months and do not generate income.
when i work on ship abroad i generate income from abroad and park salary in NRE account.
please guide,shall i continue with PPF Account??
I dont have any plan to settle out of india.
My query, is it legal to open PPF account by mariner/seafarer? I had opened it unknowingly...

: Regarding the information about the movement of the case records along with the Order and decree. My case which was disposed off on 25 /8/ 2011 in the Supreme Court The records were sent to high court in January 2007 by A.D.J. 1 which was sent to SUPREME COURT. As per the RTI information the Order was sent on 22/9/2011, the Decree was sent on 30/9/2011 and the Original records have been returned back to Registrar High Court on 11/10/11 by the SC. My query is when earliest could all the Records along with the Order and Decree would be sent to A.D.J.1 court and what is the reason for delay in sending. Till now we have not received the records in trail court for starting the execution of the decree.I have applied for RTI but has not received the riplie. THANKS.

I'm the only child to my parents. My mother is no more. We are living in tamilnadu. we have immovable properties of house and lands. Is it a must for my dad to write a will for me or just acquiring a legal heir certificate (after my father demise) is enough for me to sell the properties.
