we have applied for mortgage loan to SBH vijayawada in the name of NRI on 2 Storied RCC building. A general power of attorney in the name of his is made in sep 2012 in which POA for this building and two other properties to enable the attorney to operate and this copy was submitted to the bank, bank has not accepted this and askedus to submit fresh POA in the bank format, asking the format to be signed by NOTARY public and it should be confirmed by an apostille of the US state, in addition bank is asking to further countersigned by Indian embassy in US. our person resides in Nashua, New Hampshire and its indian embassy is in NewYork which far away from Nashua. After that the document should be sent to India In original and should be approved by the Registar of the District in AP. without this the bank is not going to consider sanction of loan. THe Question is that is it all necessary/mandatory ?

IS IT POSSIBLE TO CANCELL A REGISTERED WILL IN OTHER STATE THAN WHERE IT IS REGISTERED i.e if it is reg in andhra pradesh can i cancell it it in mumbai maharastra,if yes then how ? pl help.

My SBI FD has been lost and maturity date was 28 Nov 2012. FD was done thru sbi account only.Now how can i get duplicate FD.

hi
i am a tenant of commercal space in mumbai which is in the groud floor of the building. i am also the co owner of the building. I wish to give it to a sub tenant. But i am afraid he will sub - lease it to some one else which i do not want.
what kind of agreement should i make in this case. if possible can anyone provide a sample leave & license agreement.?

Dear Sir,
One of my friend grand father is expired on June-2011. Before the death he has not prepare the will. Now the problem is that all is balances with company deposits & Balances with Bank & Investment in Partnership Firm & advances/loans given to others total amount approximately 1.50 crore. The grand father in only one son. Now the he what can do. Kindly suggest the the same as earliest.

Recently I bought e-stamp for Rs. 3700/- purpose registering of house lease deed for two years. In the estamp form there is a row - consideration price - where I mentioned monthly rent amount. I understand it should be zero as some persons tell me that consideration price is to be mentioned only for sale/purchase deed not for lease deed. Stamp duty amount is absolutely correct and there is no other mistake in e-stamp.Should i use this estamp or not for registration of lease deed.I am the landlord.

Dear Experts,
I want to let out my apartment for a continuous period of 5 years to my friend and thus would like to execute an agreement with him. The apartment is in Kolkata. Now, according to sec-17 of Registration Act, 1908, Lease Agreement greater than 11 months, shall have to be registered.
Now, what sort of agreement, should I choose (e.g. Leave & License or Tenancy agreement) , so that I don’t have to register the property with the Registrar of Assurance, Kolkata. If not, what should I do.
