I have a rental agreement with my parents starting from May-09 to March-10
But the stamp paper used has date July-09
Hence is that agreement a valid agreement that can be used for HRA-related submission documents..

Hi All,
My passport was siezed in a 498 case and
my passport expires around Nov-2011.
The case is still on board. I would like to know:
1. As my passport deposited @ court expires in 2011, can I apply for a new passport in 2012.
2. What approach should be taken to apply for a new passport.
3. Will I need to submit my old passport to get a new passport

i am practicing under a senior lawyer as an apprentice,passed out this year from Calcutta University.i have a got a case.an astrologer who has just completed his studies of astrology wants to register himself as an astrologer.he wants to register himself under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act,1961.i dont have any idea about this matter plz help me.will it be valid to register under W.B.S.R.Act,1961? -Adv.Amrita Das.

my father has purchased property 1972 in his brothers name who was unmarried and died 1997 by the time my father was with me in us ,meanwhile one of my uncle who is in india has made forged unregistered will and clims that the property belongs to him one of my fathers friend infromed us about the forged will .
when my father back to india 1998 he failed suit for partition . last week i came to know that handwriting expert send the report to the hon'ble court in that report admitted signature is not matching with disputed signature.
my question is now can we am mend the plaint for declaration .
or
i have to go with fresh suit .
based on the handwriting experts report can i put crminal suit ?

Is the stamp duty to be calculated on the Average Annual Rent or on the Total Annual Rent. I received two answers to my query and hence this doubt.According to Mr.Ramesh it is 1% on the Rent and according to Mr.A.V.Vishal it is on the Average Annual Rent if the lease is for more than one year.
Also, pl enlighten if service tax is also to be added, where it is applicable.
Pl clarify.

And they say it should be between mother and dad that is husband/wife, but my dad has expired, what can be done, and how to solve this querry as per law ?
