Please explain the difference between the terms Agreement and Memorandum of Understanding? Which of them is having more force of law regarding enforceability?
Can any one provide me a copy of agreement of royalty on account of use of our brand names. I m dealing in electrical goods.
I have applied for passport at New Delhi regional passport office and police verification has also been done, but still i didn't get my passport as i didn't attach 10th passing certificate in it. The officials ask for it, but i missed/lost it sometimes back and have police FIR for the same. But the officials say , they can't proceed further without certificate. I have submitted copy of my driving license, PAN , voter card and all other required documents but still they are not satisfied. There must be some other affidavit which can do the needful. Please suggest , what should i do?
Dear Sir,
I am about to buy a tenancy property. The property is located in mumbai. The sale price for transfer of tenancy property is 3 lacs out of which I am going to pay the tenant 2 lacs and 1 lacs to landlord. The tenancy will surrender her tenancy to landlord and landlord will take me as a new tenancy on monthly tenancy.
My question are what are the documents and agreement i am suppose to make interse between me and the tenant and with landlord and other documents from the legal heirs of the tenant. Any clause which i am suppose to bear in mind while drafting the agreements. Also what are the acts applicable apart from rent control act. is stamp duty and registration complulsory and on what amount the rent or the transfer price between me and the landlord and what is the amount that i should mention in the agreement please reply urgently Thanks regards Asgarali
Respected Lawyers,
Sirs & Madams,
My grandmother lives separately in her house in Delhi. She has great properties in her name (house and other properties) both in Delhi and in other states. About a week ago a man visited her in civil dress. He told her that he was a policeman from a police station in Delhi. He told her false stories and, in a fraudulent way, got her signatures on a blank sheet of paper. My grandmother is an illiterate woman and is very old. We're seeing that a fraudulent activity like an attempt to transfer her properties misusing that paper can occur in future. So, we want to take all necessary actions required in this case. Please advise:
1. What can be the possible misuses of the paper?
2. What kind of actions we can take to nullify that blankly signed paper. It was not a stamp paper but a white sheet of paper. We want to take all necessary legal actions and want to nullify that paper immediately. Please Advise.
Thanks and Warm Regards,

Hello,
Would be greatly help to all of you in resolving my query..
My parents are willingly ready to execute a relinquishment/release deed in favour of my elder brother and me(both being adults)for residential premises which shall be Developed in coming years..the deed is executed in such a manner that the alloted new flat in the redeveloped premises shall be alloted to our names..Also my parents shall be executing a will after completing this deeds formality which shall also mention this transfer of property through relinquishment deed..They also have made a general power of attorney favouring us..I just wanted to confirm that is there any need registering this document since we are the only legal heirs of this property and there stands no chance of any disputes in future as we are jointly executing this deed..Please advise..
Thanks in advance..
Advice Required for Name Change in Passport
For name change in passport, an affidavit needs to be furnished as mentioned in the below link.
http://passport.gov.in/cpv/ANNEXUREE_change.htm
Following are my queries:
1. This affidavit needs to be on non-judicial stamp paper. Could you please clarify the value (Rs. 10/20/30/40/50/100 etc) of the stamp paper required for this.
2. After the affidavit is notorised, what is the exact procedure for publication in newspaper/gazette. I live in Pune and Times Of India is one of the popular newspaper in Pune. Can I approach them for the publication of the name change or do I have to approach any government official/department for the publication of the name change notification in gazette. Similarly, Dainik Jagran/Hindustan are the prominent newspapers in Patna(which is my native place). Should I directly approach them or should I approach any government/judicial body for gazette publication.
If you could detail the procedure, it would be very helpful.
Thanks,
Abhishek
