Hi,
Is GPA notary a valid & acceptable document at SRO for the purpose of property sale / release / gift (anywhere in India). Or GPA has to be registered before executing sale of property at SRO.
Thanks in advance!

One of my relative had signed up in a blank promissory note (just two 1re revenue stamp stuck on it) for getting money on a emergency purpose from one of his friend. Is it possible for that friend to file in a legal suit against my relative. How much amount that friend can claim using that promissory note(He got Rs 5000).
Note: No witness signature; No date; No amount filled in.

I am buying a flat and just wanted to cross check the documents (photo copy of sale deed) given by the seller, I approached a local lawyer and he asked me that he will verify the same and also provide me the certified copy of sale deed from registrar office.
I just want to know can a middle man misuse the certified documents and what could be the severity of misuse of the certified copies if original is with the seller. What can be done to avoid the misuse.
Typing error in land deed
Dear Sir,
Good Day.
I had purchased a piece of land from a seller. I had purchased 35 kathas which the seller actually had out of the 45 kathas present in that particluar dag.By mistake in the sale deed the seller had mentioned that I had purchased 35 kathas out of their 61 kathas in that Dag. This is a mistake because the entire dag has only 45 kathas and not 61 kathas. However the area , size, directions, stamp duty, drawing of whatever part I have bought(my 35 kathas) is totally proper.
i) Please advice me if I need to make a rectification deed and state that the seller had originally 45 kathas in the dag and not 61 kathas as mentioned in the original deed.
ii) If rectification is not needed can there be a simple declaration by me mentioning the typing mistake?
Thanks ,
Rony
