i have certain questions in my mind
1) Is commissioner of oath a gazatte rank
2) can a commissioner of oath use green ink for signature
3) can a commissioner of oath attest copies such as school certificates and attesting photo in documents such as examination hall ticket etc

This is Balasailendran from Rajapalayam. I need to know the procedure of change of name in Tamilnadu Govt Gazette.
my name in birth certificate (only) is Cylendra Prasath, but my name in all other documents like passport, School certificates, ration card, driving license is Balasailendran. Now I need to change my name in birth certificate so in Tamilnadu Gazette. Kindly let me know the procedure to do this.

Hi,
I am going through a divorce and have 2 properties to split part of the process. The agreement is to take one property each of which one is in the name of my ex husband and the other is coowned by both of us.
My ex husband has agreed to part with the house that is coowned by us. But he is not in India and has only agreed to provide me a Power of Attorney.
Would the POA be enough to transfer the 50% of the house in his name to someone else's name like my sister's or dad's through gift deed?? thus the house co-owned by me and my ex husband would be later co-owned by me and my dad?? Please advice..

"A" has a land to an extent of Ac.2.06 cents in SNo.121/17 to 121/39 of "X" village. B filed a case in DCJ Court for attachment. The court sent the orders to the Registry. "A" present a document executed some land in same S.Nos for registration. The Registering authority refused the document presented by "A" for registration of some land in same SNos as per court attachment orders as per instructions and government orders in the matter. after refusal of the document by the Sub Registrar, "A" approached High Court and the High Court ordered to verify the details of the property and the parties and take proper action. Now "A" again presented the document and the Sub Registrar again refused the document. Now can "A" have option to approach the court again or not

I have purchased the stamp paper of Rs.100 to record the gift Transaction on 30.5.2013. Can I transfer the gift by cheque after 6 months from purchased the stamp paper.
Is after 6 months from purchase, is it valid?

Dear Property Laweyrs & Experts,
Need advice if registration of Leave & License agreement is necessary if tenure is < 1 year.
I get confusing & contradictory answers.
When I tried to gather info, I found that, as per Maharashtra Rent Control Act 1999 clause 55. Tenancy agreement to be compulsorily registered under the Registration Act 1908.
Now, Registration Act section 17 & section 18 seems to be stating that Lease of immovable property term less than 1 year is not compulsory to register.

Stamp paper amt
out of partners of my fathers in a firm , two are retired from 31.03.2014 . But my father has a deed of rs 500 of stamp paper on 4.4.2014 on firm name .
there is no admission of firm .
can my father make a retirement deed on Rs. 5000 stamp paper ?
is it manadatory to have it on 200 /- stamp paper ?
