Registration of births were not common in 1937 and if it is not in record, it is not there. Now your father is also no more. Why do you need this certificate of birth and death. Of course his death would have been registered as he died in 2013
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 12 December 2015
Apply to concerned magistrate to order delayed registration as per procedure.

You may answer that why do you require a birth certificate of a deceased person after his death?
Since it is your father's birth certificate only he has to apply for it at this stage and not by his sons or wards, therefore please confirm whether you are eligible for applying for his birth registration through court order.
