a cheque daed 28/02/2013 is received for debit on 30/05/2013. Can a bank needs to clear such cheque or return it since 3 months validity is expired.

bank can clear it.

30.05.2013 has yet to come after about 3 months so cheque as on day is within validity and can be got cleared.
