Appeal against conviction in ipc 323,114

(Querist) 29 August 2014 This query is : Resolved
Hello All,
I am suffering from litigations raised by my ex-wife who has filed a series of complaints. One of her FIR u/s 294,506,323,114 of IPC against me and my family members in which we were acquitted in trial court against which she filed an appeal in sessions court, in which as per sessions court findings, we are convicted in IPC 323 and 114 as proper defense and evidence was not submitted by our advocate and so Judge ordered penalty(money) in terms of punishment not imprisonment. My question is should i go in appeal in High Court or it might be risky for us? I came to know that the complainant will definitely go in appeal to ask for more punishment. In this circumstance what should i do? Please reply
Thanks a lot.
