Apartment society membership in u.p.

Whether a non flat owner e.g. tenant or power of attorney holder can become member of the society. Further whether such person can also become office bearer in the society.

He can not become the member but he can represent as an Authorized Person/Attorney on behalf of the owner. And the owner has got to ratify the acts done by his agent.

A tenant can become an ordinary member but he cannot hold an office of power nor he can be a member of the MC.
The POA agents do not have place in the membership of the association
