Amendment to building plan

Our society building was constructed in 1990 and its plan was approved in 1988.Our society was registered in 1992 and received occupation certificate in 1993. Till now the society has not receiced conveyance in its favour. During 2007-08 an application was by made by builder to amend the plan with some addition of area of ground floor office. The same has been approved by the authority. A new occupation certification was given in 2008. What is the procedure to be follow for this amendment of plan once the society is registered? Does the approval of the General Body of the society required for any such amemdment? what is the remedy if any such approval of the Geberal Body is not taken?
Members of the society came to know about this amendment recently. Only secretary was aware of it. The suspicious role of secretary in this process can not ruled out.

1. Conveyance is not required in the name of society.
2. After the society is formed subsequently builder don't have any rights to do any modification unless society approval.
3. All the society members may pass a subequent resolution to cancel such modified plan and impose a penalty to builder and also file application before planing authority for cancellation of subsequent plan and relevant approvals.
