Amendment of pleadings citations required

An Appeal is filed in the District Judge Court with the name stating that " IN THE HONOURABLE COURT OF THE Junior Civil Judge". Again a Petiion I.A. is filed to amend the name of the court as District Judge instead of juior civil judge under Order 6 Rule 17 of CPC. Actually the provision deals with the amendment of pleadings. In this case court name is not comes under the definition of pleadings. Hence I need to submit relevant citations to this case for amendment of pleadings. Please provide citations at the earliest.

you are not making out a new case , nor any prejudice will be caused to defendant if amendment is done . youhave by mistake mentioned juniour civil judge instead of district judge .
