You are not the direct legal heir of your grandfather, moreover you are the third generation to your grandfather, hence you are not eligible for compassionate grounds appointment

Dear sir my father died after the grandfather 1year later then I went to head office they told me ,that I am under 18 ,when u get age 18 + then you can claim what i do
kavksatyanarayana (Expert) 09 August 2025
If your father was a government servant, then your mother or other elder legal heir to your father has to submit an application for compassionate appointment within a year from the date of death of your father and then only it may be considered.

No head and tail of the facts vis-a-vis query is found.
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Expert) 10 August 2025
The facts you have narrated are as under :-

1. you grandfather was a govt servant
2. your grandpa died while in service.
3. Your father did not apply/get the compassionate job (though you have not clearly stated)
4. After one year your father also died
5. You approached head office for compassionate job.
6. The office people got rid of you telling you to be of underage. [They have abstained from telling you that you are grandson of govt servant died during service is not at all eligible for be considered for compassionate job even if you are above 18.] This type of reply is generally given to a person’s for momentary riddance from a person who argues illogically
