Agriculture land short in measurement

Dear Sir,

I had a Agriculture land measuring 116000 sq ft (1.08 h) but on measurement it is short by 22000 sq ft. now please suggest me the procedure to get that 22000 sq ft land and whom to apply so that i can get my land with the help of police force.

Dear queriest, is the property self acquired or ancestral? if self acquired how much extent noted in the Sale deed or ancestral as per Pahani what is the extent. Request the Tahsildar for Fair Adangal Copy (Pahani) of the original owner (either your ancestors or vendors). or consult a local licensed surveyor to measure the land.

What is the source of your information qua "short" area?
When and how did you come to know regarding "shortage" of area?
Who is person-in-possession of the area stated to be "short"?
It would be advisable to consult a local prudent lawyer for better appreciation of facts/documents, guidance and proceeding.

The Property is Self Occupied and registered agreement is of 116000 sq ft (1.08 h). I had measured my land by patwari and in his report he has mentioned that the land is short and in possession of near by farmer. I came to know this fact a year ago.

Inquire whether the farmer purchased the land or ancestral. If necessary consult local lawyer for further guidance.
