Agricultural land

Respected sir,
Our elders belongs to Sindh (Akhand bharat 1947 now in pakistan) & i have no agricultrual land. I am leaving in gujarat state - kutch district. whether it is compulsory to hold agricultural land from ancesters. how can i buy agricultrual land ? any remedies. please explain me. Jai bharat.

its can not be solved according to indian law only., just ask your brother to go for any amicable partition between yours.,

If your wish is to purchase agricultural land here in India and if you are an Indian citizen, you can purchase agricultural land without any further problems. It is not necessarily purchased only from your ancestors.

Shri S V Goplani,

In some states of INDIA, only agriculturist can purchase of agricultural land. As per my information in Maharashtra State. I have no idea about Gujarat. So, please check with local advocate or wait some time, any expert from gujarat can answer you.

Hope fully even in GUJRAT law is akin to that of Maharashtra.
