Adulteration

(Querist) 18 September 2017 This query is : Resolved
We want to punish a guy who has illicit relation with my friends's wife. Request you to kindly help us here by specifying that whether we should launch Adulteration Complaint/F.I.R with Police or file adulteration case against that person in Court. Which methodology will be more effective. Thanks very much

Complaint against that person in police. Then you may move the court for action under the relevant provisions of law.

May lodge FIR against the person.

Adultery was not even an offence in First Draft of IPC in 1837 drafted under the chairmanship of Lord Macaulay

Sec 497 IPC Punishes only the man for having the sexual relationship with married woman.

Married Women are exempted from the Punishments

In your case if the incident had happened with the consent of that married lady an efficient Advocate could easily protect that man For example stating that she had only forced up on him

Better Let your friend divorce that lady and lead a pleasant life instead of indulging in punishing which would be an never ending story

Are you the person involved in adultery?
If so, enjoy and face the music, otherwise it is a great joke with experts!!!!!

It is quite surprising, if your friend found a mediator in you to sort out his private problem.

Apparently, you are not the authority to punish anyone. Your friend should have consulted some local lawyer and discussed the whole episode along with proof if he has.
