Adding wife's name to immovable property.

A has got residential flat in his own name. Tax receipt is in his name. He wants to add his wife's name alongwith his name. What legal document he needs to execute? Kindly advise. Regards.

The husband shall have to transfer a part of his share in the flat in favour of his wife.

Yes!Husband needs to gift a part of unit to his wife to add her name as owner along with him.
