At the meeting of AGM of the Society, a resolution is passed stating that no non owner will be allowed associate membership along with the owner member till the agreement is modified accordingly and the name of such non owner is added to it. The Society has also applied for modification of bye laws accordingly. Is this legal and binding ?
ajay sethi (Expert) 13 November 2011
the modification of bye laws has to be approved by Registrar Ccopertaive Societies . only after it is approved will it be binding .
