Dear Sir I(Sikh) am from ludhiana and she(Hindu) is from gorakhpur. our parents are against our marriage. so we got married in arya samaj mandir in gorakhpur on sep 2012. we have photos and certifitcate. Then she got govt job in gorakhpur and i postponed to bring her. none of our parents know about our marriage yet. currently she is in gorakhpur. i am planning to bring her in next month. but before this i want to register our marriage and get a marriage certificate from court or registrar. Sir can i got registered in the absense of her, i can get her signature or other documents by courier to her. Sir you are requested to guide me tell me the procedure to get court/registrar certificate in my situation. Thanks Sir

You both should be physically present while registration of your marriage, because of your photograph and thumb impression will be scanned by the sub registrar office.

personal presence of Both the parties are mandatory before registrar of marriage at the time of registration.

The Arya samaj marriage is also considered as a legal marriage, for registration of the same, both have to appear and sign the register meant for it before the marriage registrar.
