Fake Medical Bills

(Querist) 15 February 2016 This query is : Resolved
I see that many employees in the corporates give fake medical bills. Such medical bills are easily available in very cheap rates. Agents are easily available outside company gate to provide the same.

Medical bills worth Rs.15000/- are available in just Rs.150/-

These bills are reimbursed against the medical reimbursement. Corporates officials are already aware of this but still they accept these bills without any verification.

Where should this problem be reported?

if it is Govt corporate then you should invest energy.

In case it is non- govt then why should you bother if X is allowing Y to take his money.

Its happening in many private firms.

I didn't think in that terms like who is taking whose money!! It all about fake thing that is happening. Isn't government losing any revenue here? I believe if this could have been real bills government would have definitely earned some revenue out of it by way of some taxes like Sales Tax and/or VAT.

If the chemist cash memo with bills are totally fake, you may inform VAT department, Health department.
Kumar Doab (Expert) 16 February 2016
If the bill is fake then the person that has submitted the fake bill and issued the fake bill are culprits.

You may rake up the issue with MD of the company.
