Who can call the meeting of Board of Directors of a Private Limited Company?
How notice of meeting of Board of Directors issued? Can a notice for meeting of board of directors be send through email? Is notice send through an Email valid according to Company law, IT Act and is it accepted by Court of Law?

Company Secretary has to issue the notices as per procedure laid down in the article of the company and e-mail notices are equally valid.

The Board meeting should be held once in 3 months unless the articles state otherwise, any director can call for the board meeting after giving notice of 7 days or a lesser period if the articles permit.
