498A

Guest (Querist) 18 December 2010 This query is : Resolved
Chargesheet has been recently filed in 498A case but we have not yet received the summons from the trial court.

Will securing bail be difficult when we appear on the date specified in the summons. As police has already completed investigations what for bail can be objected.

Can false streedhan claims from the other party cause problems.
Adv Archana Deshmukh (Expert) 18 December 2010
I don't think there can be any problem for you at this stage if investigation is already completed.

Dont worry, as per supreme court guidelines, you need to track the dates after you secure bail in any case. If Charge sheet filed in your case, the concerned court issue notice to you and other accused person for appearence and supply of copy of charge sheet. so you will get the notice mentioning next date.

I agree with Ms.Archana.

There cannot be any problems in getting bail since the charge sheet has been filed.
