yes if you are not satisfied with the amount awarded by the lower court then you can approach to the higher court. you ca aso file a complaint in DV Act. Their is no bar. For more information contact 9868529732

Apart from maintenance there are some other remedies available in a proceeding under DV Act.

you can file revision before High Court for enhancement of Maintenance claim

If cause of action attracts domestic violence, you can file DV Case also

Apart from initiating procedings under section 125 cr.p.c,you can also claim monetary reliefs under DV act for loss of earning, medical expenses, maintenance for aggrieved person as well as her children in addition to an order of maintenance u/s 125 cr.p.c, etc.,
